Hi, I'm Shreya, a senior at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South. Last summer, I created Food-U-Cation as part of my Girl Scout Gold Award project. As someone who loves baking and is learning to cook, I really wanted to help other teenagers around me learn the importance of eating healthy in an engaging way. For a few months, I held workshops teaching 6th-8th graders at my local library and was able to publish a cookbook in the end (check out the Recipes tab to see the foods we made). Now that I’ve finished my Gold Award project, I’m looking forward to expanding my project to reach a larger audience and make an even larger impact. Outside of the kitchen, I love to participate in my school’s FRC robotics team and I sing Indian Classical music (Carnatic music) during my free time.
